Hello! I’m Sanghamitra Sethy, currently pursuing my Master of Design at the United World Institute of Design. With a background in engineering and four years in the IT sector, I made the bold decision to follow my passion and transition into fashion design. My technical foundation equips me with a unique perspective, allowing me to merge analytical skills with creativity in my design approach.
Throughout my journey, I’ve developed a strong interest in textile manipulation, pattern making, and garment construction. I love pushing boundaries with silhouettes and sustainable fabrics, creating designs that are both functional and aesthetically compelling. My IT experience has given me an edge in design software and CAD tools, enabling me to enhance precision and detailing in my work. With this diverse background, I aim to bring fresh ideas, innovation, and structural elegance to the fashion industry.
